The Jayhawks got out to a quick and early lead, and they never looked back. The Cougars fell behind 49-21 at the end of the first half. MCC won the second half 60-24, leading to the 109-45 defeat for the Cougars.Â
The Cougars struggled to get going offensively, as the Jayhawks limited the Cougars to just 21.5% from the field and 12.1% from three. On the other hand, the Jayhawks shot an efficient 54.2% from the field.Â
