Box Score The Kuyper College JV - Purple team opened their season on the road at Huntington University, where they took on the Huntington JV team. Huntington defeated Kuyper 100-52 in the game. 

The Cougars were down 42-25 at halftime, but the second half was tough for Kuyper. Kuyper lost the second half 58-27, leading to the 100-52 loss. The Cougars shot the ball poorly in this one. They shot 30.2% from the field and 19% from three.

Terrance Murphy led the Cougars with 13 points. Kam Dorsey reached double figures as well, scoring 10 points and dishing out 4 assists. Aden Moorhead grabbed a team-high 8 rebounds.
