The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team defeated Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL on Tuesday evening in a high-scoring affair. The Cougars defeated the Archers 109-102 in the rematch. Kuyper beat Moody Bible earlier this month at home. 

In the first meeting, the game was pretty close in the first half, but Kuyper controlled much of the game in the second half. This one was much different, as Moody Bible led 56-53 going into the halftime break. Both teams struggled to slow down the opposition. Kuyper shot a scorching 60.9% from the field, and Moody wasn't far off at 55.6% from the field. 

In the second half, Kuyper flipped the game and took a double-digit lead, but Moody Bible did not go away. They kept the game within reach all the way to the end, but Kuyper was able to escape with the road win. 

Herman Brown led the Cougars with 23 points and 6 rebounds to go along with his 5-7 from three. Sam Dillard added 20 points and 9 rebounds. Jacob May logged 20 points and 7 rebounds. Richard Major scored 19 points for Kuyper on an efficient 8-9 from the field. Damion Cochran poured in 13 points for Kuyper as well. Nic Yorke provided a good performance for the Cougars as well, as he scored 8 points on 4-4 from the field. 

Kuyper improves to 12-13 on the year with the win. They will host Miami University Hamilton on Friday evening at 7:30pm for Senior Night.
