The Kyuepr College Women's Basketball team defeated Grace Christian University on Wednesday evening by a score of 80-39. This was the second match-up of the year between the Cougars and the Tigers. Kuyper defeated Grace back in late November to secure the Cross Cup Trophy. 

Kuyper led this one from start to finish, remaining in firm control of the game. Kuyper scored at a high level in this one, as they went into the halftime break with 48 points. Kuyper shot an impressive 48.6% from the field. They also made 6 threes at a 35.3% clip. 

Kuyper was led by freshman Kylah Buggs, who scored a career-high 18 points. She shot an efficient 9-12 from the field, while also grabbing 5 rebounds. Maria Sobany and Brynne Johnson each scored 13 points for the Cougars. Sobany made all 3 of her three point attempts, and Johnson added 5 rebounds and 5 assists on the day. Aniya Fisher filled the stat sheet with 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 assists. 

The Cougars improve to 10-11 on the year with the rivalry win. On Friday, the Cougars will honor their 5 seniors on Senior Night at 5:00pm. The Cougars will take on Miami University Hamilton.
