The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team hosted Alice Lloyd College on Friday evening. The Cougars lost on the road to Alice Lloyd a couple of weeks ago, so this was a rematch between the two teams. Kuyper lost on Friday night 91-84. The Cougars were plagued by a rough first half in this one, and despite a much better second half performance, Kuyper was unable to overcome their early deficit. 

The Cougars fell behind by as much as 23 points in the first half. The Cougars went into the halftime break down by that 23 point deficit, as the halftime score was 55-32. Alice Lloyd shot the ball at a high level, and the Cougars were unable to get enough stops on the defensive end. 

In the second half, Kuyper mounted an impressive comeback, getting hte lead all the way down to 5 points. However, Alice Lloyd was able to hold on to win the rematch. 

Kuyper was led by Elijah Searcy, who finished with 14 points and made 3 threes. Latrell Jennings added 13 points. Nick Moore had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Austin Stone and Jashaun Boggerty each scored double-figures for the Cougars as well. 

Kuyper dropped to 9-12 on the year with the home loss.
