Men's Developmental Head Coach
Tyler Whitcomb is putting on an impressive and high-level basketball clinic on Sunday, November 5th at Kuyper College. Coach Whitcomb carries an impressive resume of basketball knowledge and experience, and he is excited to put this clinic on for basketball coaches in the area, as well as throughout the state, in order to help them grow and develop their knowledge of the game.
The coaching clinic is a free event, and it will take place at Kuyper College in Boonstra Gymnasium. The event will run from 2pm to 6pm. Coach Whitcomb's clinic is being sponsored by Snipback and Schoolfundr.
The coaching clinic will feature an impressive network of coaches from multiple coaching levels (professional, collegiate, and high school). The list of speakers who will be speaking/presenting at the clinic include:

Ryan Trevithick - Power Catholic: Lock left defense
Doug Porter - Former Olivet Nazarene and Bethel University Coach: Pace and space offense
Taylor Johnson - South Christian: Villanova motion offense
Thom Vanderklay - Wyoming: Creating and changing pace
Joe Fox - Grand Rapids Community College: Transition quick hitters
Jim Horn - Kalamazoo Valley Community College: Different pressure packages
Dymetrius Ware - Detroit Westland: Dribble drive motion
In addition to the high level basketball coaches who will be providing significant basketball philosophies and concepts to the attendees, there will be multiple basketball vendors on site for the afternoon. Some of the vendors include Sportslab 360 Basketball, Coaching Buddy, Shootaway, Mindset Solutions, Prep Hoops, and Hoops Elite Coaching App. The coaching clinic will also feature some prizes and giveaways for those in attendance.
