The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team had their annual team banquet this past week to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025-2026 season. The Cougars finished this season with a 13-16 record, and they made the NCCAA II Midwest Regional Tournament Championship Game. Their season came to an end, as the Cougars lost to Great Lakes Christian in the Regional Championship by a score of 81-71.Â
The Cougars season had multiple exciting and notable accomplishments and experiences. Some of those accomplishments include:Â
- 2 NCCAA II Student-Athlete of the Week winners (

- Coach Bailey earned his 400th career win
- 3 NCCAA II Scholar-Athletes (

- 3-0 record vs. rival Grace Christian University
- 2 NCCAA II All-Region members (

Austin Stone)
- Road trips to Iowa, the UP, Minneapolis, Nashville, Wisconsin, Louisville, Chicago, etc.
At the banquet, the coaches recognized the season's individual award winners. The team met at Uccellos for a night of food, team bonding, award recognition, and more.Â

Nick Moore - Newcomer of the Year
Jashaun Boggerty - 6th Man of the Year
Antwann Woods - Most Improved Player
