The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team had three student-athletes recognized by the NCCAA for their high-level academic success. The Cougars had three juniors, Nic Yorke, Austin Stone, and Elijah Searcy, each recognized as NCCAA II Scholar-Athletes. NCCAA Scholar-Athletes are student-athletes who are nationally recognized for their academic success in the classroom. Only juniors and seniors are eligible for this award.

Nic Yorke, Elijah Searcy, and Austin Stone were each recognized with this national award. Nic Yorke has now been a NCCAA Scholar-Athlete twice in his career, while Austin Stone and Elijah Searcy each earned their first recognition of this award.

The Cougars take pride in excelling in the classroom, and these three students epitomized that value of the program.
