Yonnie Solomon, a 6'5" guard out of University High School, is the latest player to sign to play at Kuyper College.  Coach Gary Bailey continues to build the team with this latest signing.  "Yonnie is a great young man and exactly what we are looking for to build the culture at Kuyper College.  He comes from a strong Christian family, is an Honor Roll student, and is an outstanding basketball player", said Bailey.  "Yonnie can really shoot the ball with a college ready shot and has outstanding size at the guard spot."

Yonnie is the son of Solomon and Fiyori and has two sister, Milcah and Maya.  At University High School, located in Ferndale, MI, Yonnie averaged 10ppg with 3 apg and 2 rpg under Head Coach Nicks.

"I chose Kuyper College because of the friendly environment as well as the great staff.  My goal is to get closer to God while I get my education and play basketball."
