Box Score The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team defeated Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday evening by a score of 92-73. The Cougars traveled to Ankeny, Iowa this weekend to participate in the annual Faith Classic. The Faith Classic, hosted by Faith Baptist Bible College, is a four-team invitational for both Men's and Women's NCCAA programs. The Cougars defeated Faith Baptist this evening, and they will take on Manhattan Christian College on Saturday at 12:30pm ET.Â
This game was a high-scoring game in the first half, with both team trading punches. Faith Baptist made a three at the halftime buzzer to tie the score at 45-45 going into the break. However, Kuyper came out firing in the second half, and jumped out to a quick lead. The Cougars were able to limit the Eagles offense in the second half, while maintaining their own high-powered offense in the second half. 92 points is a season-high for the Cougars.Â
Kuyper shot a scorching 52.1% from the field on the game. They held Faith Baptist to 43.1% from three. The Cougars also shot 42.3% from three, which was a positive for them. Lastly, the rebounding battle favored Kuyper 38-25, helping lead to the Cougars' win.Â

Herman Brown, who finished the game with 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists.
Sam Dillard added 19 points for Kuyper, and
Elisha Searcy finished with 17 points. The Cougars got quality bench minutes from
Richard Major and
Elijah Searcy, who combined for 3 made threes for Kuyper.Â
Kuyper moves to 2-5 overall and 1-1 in the NCCAA II on the season. They will take on Manhattan Christian College on Saturday at 12:30pm ET.Â
