Box Score The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team traveled to Dubuque, Iowa this past weekend for two NCCAA II match ups. They went up against Faith Baptist Bible College in a rematch from earlier this season. The game was played at Emmaus Bible College, as the Cougars took on Emmaus Bible the following day.Â
The Cougars defeated the Eagles of Faith Baptist Bible College on Friday evening by a score of 100-67. These teams played in late November, where the Cougars won 92-73.Â
Friday's game was very competitive in the first half, as Kuyper led by just 4 points at halftime. However, Kuyper's offense took off in the second half, as they scored 61 second half points. Faith Baptist Bible was unable to keep up offensively with the Cougars in the second half, and Kuyper ended up earning a NCCAA II win.Â
Kuyper was very balanced in this game, as they had 5 players in double-figures. Additionally, 13 Cougars got in the game, with 12 of them scoring.Â
Danyel Bibbs led the way with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Damion Cochran added 13 points.
Latrell Jennings and
Jacob May each scored 12 points, and Jennings grabbed 7 rebounds as well.
Herman Brown added 11 points.
Sam Dillard had a nice performance as well with 8 points and 8 rebounds.Â
Kuyper improved to 5-8 on the year with the win and 2-2 in the NCCAA II.Â
