The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team has added Nick Moore to their 2025 recruiting class. Moore is from San Antonio, Texas, but has lived in Michigan the past couple of years, as he attended Cleary University in Howell, Michigan. Nick, the son of Todd and Linda Moore, graduated from Steele High School in Texas. After graduating, Moore began his collegiate career at Presentation College, where he transferred and followed his Head Coach to Minnesota North College-Hibbing, where he played one season. Then, Moore played two seasons of NAIA Basketball at Cleary University.
Moore has experienced success at multiple stops along his basketball journey, and he will bring valuable experience to the Kuyper College Men's Basketball program. At Steele High School, he played in the Texas 6A Final Four. He was also a high-level track and field athlete growing up. At Cleary, Nick played in 43 games, and was an important part of the rotation. Moore is a tremendous teammate, which is evident in the fact that he was named to the Champion of Character team in the WHAC.
As a student, Moore was named to the All-Academic team at Cleary. He carries an impressive 4.0 GPA.
Kuyper is thrilled to add someone of Moore's versatility to the program. Head Coach
Gary Bailey said of Moore, "We are excited to have Nick with us next year. He will come in as a senior and brings a load of college experience which gives us more depth at the guard spot. He is a tremendous passer and the other players will enjoy his unselfishness with the ball. He can shoot it and is very athletic. Nick is also a 4.0 student."
Moore is excited about the opportunity that Kuyper offers to him. Moore said, "I am excited to join the Kuyper College Basketball program because they have a good coaching staff, and I have an opportunity to be a part of a team that is competitive and shows support to each other."
Moore has one season of eligibility remaining.
Congratulations to Nick Moore on signing on to become a Kuyper Cougar!
