The Kuyper College Men's Basketball program will have some new faces on the bench this year from a coaching staff standpoint. Head Coach
Gary Bailey has announced his coaching staff, which will include:
Andrew Howard - Assistant Coach
Brad Rosenzweig - Assistant Coach
Kyle Jarosch - Student Assistant Coach
Howard comes to the Cougars with some familiarity of Kuyper College, as he served as an Assistant Coach for the Kuyper College Women's Basketball program for the 2024-2025 season. Additionally, Howard has high school coaching experience, as he has served as a Varsity Assistant Coach at West Michigan Aviation Academy, as well as Cheboygan High School.
Rosenzweig comes to Kuyper from Forest Hills Eastern High School, where he was an Assistant Coach with the Varsity program, as well as a Head Coach for the Freshman team. Rosenzweig has ties to Coach Bailey, as he played for Bailey at Grace Christian University from 2011-2015. During his time at Grace Christian, Rosenzweig won a NCCAA II National Championship as a player under Coach Bailey. Additionally, Rosenzweig earned All-Region honors during his career at Grace Christian.
Jarosch joins the staff as a Student Assistant Coach. Jarosch played with the Kupyer JV Basketball program last year (2024-2025). Prior to coming to Kuyper, Jarosch played two seasons at Siena Heights University. Jarosch is also coaching with the Lindsey Hunter Elite AAU program. Lindsey Hunter is a former Detroit Piston.
Coach Bailey will begin his 20th season of coaching in the college ranks. He coached his first 17 years at Grace Christian University, where he won 7 NCCAA II National Championships. This season will mark his third season at Kuyper College. He currently sits at 399 career wins in college.
The Cougars open their season with a three game road trip to Minnesota, where they will take on Free Lutheran Bible, Oak Hills Christian, and Trinity Bible. Their season opener is on October 23rd.
