Box Score The Kuyper College Volleyball program opened their season on the road on Wednesday evening, as they took on Montcalm Community College. The Cougars lost in three sets to the Centurions. 

The first two sets were very competitive, as the Cougars lost 25-22 in each set. In the third set, the Cougars ran out of gas. 

Kuyper was led in kills by freshman Aliyah Garner. Garner logged 12 kills in her collegiate debut. Brooke Moore, another freshman for the Cougars, led the team with 16 digs. Both Garner and Moore's totals are good for 2nd most in KC history in their respective categories. Catherine Cone led the way with 15 assists. Newcomer Rachel Romero added 6 kills to the Cougars' effort. 

Kuyper drops to 0-1 on the season, but they are right back to game action this weekend, as they take on Alice Lloyd at 5:00pm on Friday for the Cougars' home opener.
