Box Score The Kuyper College Men's Basketball team traveled south this week for a road-trip. The Cougars took on Welch College on Thursday night, where the Cougars won in narrow fashion, 74-73. The Cougars defeated Welch earlier this season by a score of 88-82. Both of Kuyper's wins came by way of comeback. 

Welch stormed out to an early lead in this one, leading by as many as 16 in the first half. Kuyper responded, and they went into the halftime break down 45-39. In the second half, the game was back and forth, and Kuyper was able to make enough plays down the stretch to get the win. 

Latrell Jennings led Kuyper with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Arlind Avdo provided a spark off the bench, scoring 14 points and making 4 threes. Nic Yorke added 13 points and 7 rebounds to the Cougars' effort. Nick Moore also reached double figures, as he finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds. 

Kuyper improves to 9-10 on the year with the win. They travel to Alice Lloyd College on Friday evening for a 5:00pm tip off. Saturday's game at Boyce College has been postponed due to inclement weather.
