The Kuyper College Women's Basketball program has signed Jayla Parker-Vincent, a 5'3" transfer guard from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Parker-Vincent is transferring to Kuyper from Glen Oaks Community College, where she played each of the last two seasons. Jayla comes to Kuyper with two years of remaining eligibility. She played her HS basketball at Kalamazoo Central HS in Kalamazoo, MI.
Parker-Vincent comes to Kuyper with significant collegiate playing experience. She appeared in 53 games at Glen Oaks CC, and she started in 8 of those games. As a high school player, she earned All-Conference honors as a senior at Kalamazoo Central HS.
As a student, Jayla has earned her way onto the Dean's List, displaying her commitment to academics.
When asked what excites her most about the opportunity to join the WBB program at Kuyper, Parker-Vincent said, "I'm most excited about building new bonds with my new team and having a winning season. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to continue playing!"
