The Kuyper College JV Basketball program has signed Dalviere Garrett, a 6'0 guard from Battle Creek, Michigan. Garrett attended Battle Creek Central High School in southern Michigan. Dalviere is the son of Leewayne Embry and Deshaun Mitchell. 

Garrett was a starter at Battle Creek Central. He played AAU Basketball with the LPA Pirates and United Pursuit. With the Pirates, he helped lead them to a Regional Championship. 

Garrett was named the Rotary Club Student of the Month for his academic success. 

Garrett said "I am excited to be able to showcase my talents at a higher level and do it while keeping God with me in my everyday lifestyle. I am ready to get the show on the road."
