The Kuyper College Men's Basketball program has released their 2025-2026 schedule. The 2025-2026 season will begin in late October. The Cougars are coming off of a 13-15 season that ended in the Midwest Regional Semifinals. This upcoming season will be the third season since Athletics returned to Kuyper College.
The 2025-2026 campaign will begin on October 28th, where they will travel to Marian, Indiana to take on perrienial NAIA powerhouse Indiana Wesleyan. The first home game for the Cougars will be game #2 of the season, where they will host Indiana University Columbus on October 31st.
The schedule consists of 31 total games, 11 of which will be home games. Of the 31 games, the Cougars will take on 4 NCAA Division II teams - Saginaw Valley State, Northwood, Lake Superior State, and Davenport. The Cougars will face 8 NAIA opponents and 1 NCAA Division III opponent. The rest of the schedule features NCCAA II matchups.
The Cougars will travel to Minnesota early in the season for a 3 game stretch against NCCAA II opponents. Additionally, Kuyper will travel to Ankeny, Iowa for the third straight season to be a part of the Faith Classic, hosted by Faith Baptist Bible College.
The Cross Cup Trophy Game will take place on November 12th, where the Cougars will travel across town to take on rival Grace Christian University.
NCCAA postseason play will begin in late February. The NCCAA II Midwest Regional Tournament will take place on the campus of Emmaus University in Dubuque, Iowa. The NCCAA II National Tournament will tip off in mid March in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
