Micah had a decorated career at Hopkins High School. He earned All-District honors during his career, and he was named Honorable Mention All-Conference for the OK Silver Conference. Additionally, Estelle was earned the BCAM Outstanding Senior Athlete Award, as well as the WZZM Scholar Athlete of the Week Award. On top of his success on the hardwood, Estelle was a high-level soccer player as well. He earned All-District honors for soccer as well at Hopkins.

Micah comes to Kuyper with valuable experience of playing at the collegiate level, as he played the '24-'25 season at Grand Rapids Community College. At GRCC, he helped lead the Raiders to a 18-12 record. Estelle shot an impressive 52.4% from the field on the season. He played his AAU basketball with the West Michigan Lakers AAU program.

Not only does Estelle thrive in athletics, he thrives in the classroom as well. At Hopkins HS, Estelle graduated with an impressive 4.071 GPA. His academic success continued in the college classroom, as he earned a 3.99 GPA in his one year at GRCC. His impressive academic worked earned him a spot on both the President's List and the Dean's List at GRCC. Additionally, he earned Second Team Academic All-Conference at the JUCO level for his success in academics.

Micah is excited to continue his college basketball career at Kuyper College. When asked what excited him most about the new opportunity, Estelle said, "I am most excited to join the Kuyper College Men's Basketball team because I will be able to grow in my faith and basketball skill, while getting a business degree. I have enjoyed getting to know Coach Bailey and Coach Whitcomb, as well as the rest of the team at our first scrimmages this summer at Indiana Wesleyan University. This time together made me excited for our upcoming season!"

Kuyper Head Coach Gary Bailey is excited to have Micah on board with his program. On Estelle, Coach Bailey said, "Having Micah with us next year is such a blessing. He is a little undersized for a college post player, but he makes up for that by being fundamentally sound and having an unbelievable work ethic. He is also as tough as nails. We are really fortunate to have him for the next three years. He picked up some great experience at GRCC. That will benefit him here at Kuyper College."

Micah is the fifth signee of Coach Bailey's 2025 recruiting class. The Cougars open their season on October 28th, where they travel to Indiana to take on perennial NAIA power, Indiana Wesleyan.

Congratulations to Micah Estelle on signing on to become a Kuyper Cougar!
